As many of you have already complained, I am not active enough in toxic. I have both servers favorited but they are always empty. So this is goodbye and best of luck to anyone trying to keep toxic going. If toxic is revived one day I might come back, but i have no plan on visiting the website, or joining an empty server. I will leave most of you on my friends list, and will join your games, but I guess in my mind toxic is dead. So pce and gl to you all.

I don't have much to say so this is going to be a bit of a short update:
Hope everyone had a great winter break!

As most of you know Firespade is now hosting the toxic surf and pub. Both are now up and running with only a few kinks to be ironed out. Everyone should thank Firespade for his hard work in keeping this community alive.

We have a few new members of toxic that you should all welcome: Ricky, Killer Steve, and Serious. If I missed anyone who hasn't been mentioned before I'm sorry

Yo so here are a few new things.

First tons of people have been asking about admin, without donation. So here is two ways you can get it without donating.
Of course first of all their are 2 requirements
1 - legit copy of css through steam
2 - being in toxic clan.

Ok so if you are within those 2 requirements then you can get admin by
either
getting 3 people to apply to the clan who are accepted
or
by getting 5 active people to the website who have at least 10 posts over 2 weeks, and look as if they will stay active.

To get credit for this, on apps there is a space where it says who brought you to the server ~ the app needs to put your name there. For just bring people to the server, they must introduce themselves and specifically say you brought them to the site. If they say 2 people neither of them get credit.

PREVIOUS RECRUITS BEFORE THIS DO NOTE COUNT!

you add up your own recruits or additions to the server. Once you get enough that qualify you send a message to the links of where the person specified you as the recruiter. You do this for each person, so save the links.



Ok, so that is how we are going to give away free admin ~
HOWEVER, we have almost no donations. The servers upkeep is more than 50 a month, that's a ton of money, WE NEED MORE DONATIONS! 5 dollars for one server 10 for both for one month.


Anyway the other thing I wanted to address is fixing the server. You guys need to send things that need to be fixed to me, in a private message, one thing at a time. I see tons of posts with, this or that is broken, and have no idea what you guys are talking about. Help me out, I have limited amount of time to fix stuff, as does ultra and mofo. If something is broken tell me in a private message and I will fix it.

Yo so a few new things have come up that I want to address here.

First, if you want something changed on the servers, send me a private message specifying what you want changed. One change per message. So if you want maps removed and rtv removed send me two messages. The purpose of this is for the following reason: The three people who have access to the severs, me mofo and ultra are all very busy. I am happy to fix all of these problems, but they are scattered all over the forums. I need them all in one place, where I can tackle one at a time. Once I finish one I will delete the message, that is how I will keep track of the changes I still need to make.
The other purpose of this is to make sure changes are actually widely accepted. For example, if someone (cough, fluffy) wants me to remove rtv and I do it, I don't want a billion people to yell at me. So I will do a new thread with a vote. Leave that vote up for a week and then make a decision based on the results.

Also some people have started talk about toxic being full. This is never the case. Continue recruiting people. We will only accept members who are good additions to the clan, but we will not become an exclusive club.

Ok so just a few updates for u guys.

Bob is no longer in toxic, and i would just ignore him if he tries to talk to you.

Also I know some members have interest in bringing the scrim team back. So I am gonna through that out for suggestions. Obviously we would put a new tag on at the end of our name, like the old one was X3M or something. You would have to tryout for the scrim team, not everyone can just join. People i know who are intested are, me, mofo, undercover and dreamtrouper. If you are interested as well let me know.

The SK server is looking pretty empty... should we get rid of it? cause it's pretty expensive.

Ok so it is obvious that people are a little upset about how applications are run, so here is the deal. If you are applying, before the admins are even going to start considering is if you have steam and a fake steam id.

Then you must make sure I am on your friends list, and talk to me whenever I am on. I will consider you inactive if you never message me. People like yoldman and pepercorn message me every time I am on, so I know they want to get into toxic. Just say wassup that's all it takes. If you are active I will look at your app and see how many members you are friends with, I learn this from their comments. Then me and mofo both check to make sure you have been active in game and on the forums. You must be active on both. Then me and mofo discuss (and ultra if he's not busy). Of course if ultra wants you to join ur in, but otherwise me and mofo decide based on how active you are. Of course older members and admins like muffin, jaw and firespade have important say. Then other members are weighted and that's how we decide. So pretty much the only way you can ever get in is to add me on steam and message me, or doing the same with mofo. If you don't message me, and talk with me I am not going to go out of my way to review your app.


So if you want someone to get in make sure they know this. For example someone like ricky is applying but he never talks to me. I am not gonna go out of my way to find him so for now he's app is just gonna sit. And cause he;s not reaching out to mofo, mofo isn't gonna reach out either.

Anyway I hope that clears up the app process.

Hope you guys are having fun ~ oh and we are gonna work on adding more maps that's my next project. I have 2, 2 days weeks in a row so i should have time (unless I am dieing from pain of getting my wisdom teeth out.

Ok so I wanna make this quick so you guys will all read the whole thing. ]
First therev and the happy quaker are toxic's newest members. Say hi and be nice to them ingame .

Finally our pub and sk servers are looking a little empty, PLAY THERE . Really though these servers are expensive for them to just sit all by there lonesome. Go into one, and if its empty get some friends to join. Both servers have a large number of people who have favorited them so if you and a few friends join, others will follow. (we have better registration then Cha and scrubs, because one lowpings.net gets less FPS then counter-strike.com (500 to 1000) and also cha has noblock which means the redge is even worse. SO PLAY TOXIC . I LOVE YOU CHEESE and CUPCAKS (who probably won't read this anyway).
